These sounds are from unknown sources and inaudible at the time of the recording. They only become amplified enough to hear after filtering out the static and playing back the tape.
EVP is standard equipment in the ghost hunting profession, and many online forums exist to prove to the world that the dead are trying to talk to us. But EVP skeptics say that these sounds are either random noises or simply stray radio frequencies being picked up by the recorders.
