The past couple of months have been difficult, to say the least. From navigating programs like EIDL and PPP to working through how to pivot an industry to make use of social distancing and working from home, the challenges have been never-ending for small business owners.
I have felt paralyzed, as many of you have, the past two months. I’ve gone from being overcome with grief and guilt to expending all my energy trying to help my clients navigate programs and billing to working to find our own way through. I wanted to do something positive in April–something that would make me feel better about the world in general, give back to the community in some way, and help an entrepreneur or two. Watching my child’s schoolwork through AMI and distance learning has been nothing short of inspiring. I decided I wanted to focus some effort on helping them, and partnered with my friend Tina McCord with ZUNI Learning Tree, to give back.
I hope you’ll take a moment to read and share the press release below. If you’re a small business owner, Tina can help you do something really powerful and help ensure quality learning materials for the school of your choice. As marketing efforts go, it’s quite affordable, and she makes it so easy you’ll wonder why you didn’t do it earlier. Please reach out to her or to me with any questions. You’ll be glad you did.
